With his debut self-titled album, ARÓN PIPER, the Spanish-German artist turns the spotlight inward. Released via Capitol Records, the 13-track body of work is a carefully sculpted, emotionally resonant body of work. We follow Piper on a personal journey expressed through polished songwriting, sensual production, and a refreshing sense of creative freedom.

Recorded across three vibrant cultural hubs (Madrid, Mexico City, and Los Angeles), the album weaves together Latin-infused melodies led by dreamy guitar riffs and contemporary pop sensibilities. With a distinguished level of control and maturity for a debut, Piper co-wrote every track on the record and shaped its sound alongside Latin GRAMMY® Award-winning producer Manuel Lara (Kali Uchis, Rauw Alejandro, and Bad Bunny). The result is a sonic palette that presents itself simultaneously as intimate and expansive. From the lush layered production to  introspective lyricism, the album reveals a multifaceted artist unafraid to explore vulnerability, sensuality, and playfulness all at once.

"It's been three years since I started this journey,” Piper says of releasing his debut album. "I’m so thankful for all the people involved for helping me in the creation of this project. I’m also grateful for the fans, family and friends who have been there for me throughout the process." This underlying sense of gratitude and reflection infuses the record. Throughout the album, Piper’s voice carries nuanced emotion, gliding effortlessly between intimate whispers and commanding dynamics.

From the woozy, atmospheric tones of Pirata Espacial to the tender vulnerability of the lead single Invisibilidad, Piper opens the door to his creative world with warmth and honesty. The latter track serves as the emotional core of the album, exploring a longing to disappear into love, to become invisible just to stay close. Stripped down and almost weightless in its production, the track lets Piper’s soft vocals take center stage, bringing a quiet but powerful emotional depth. On the flip side, Especial is full of life - bright guitars, catchy melodies, and an upbeat vibe that celebrates someone who made a lasting impact on him.

The latest single, Flores, adds further depth both sonically and visually. Directed by Bandiz (Omar Apollo and Dellafuente), the accompanying music video paints Piper as a romantic wanderer, waiting with flowers in hand against a backdrop of melancholic beauty. This interplay between brooding visuals and sun-drenched, laid-back rhythms captures Piper’s signature tension: vulnerability cloaked in charm.

That duality - being emotionally open while still holding onto a sense of artistic control - runs through the whole album. Piper appears intent on peeling back the layers, showing a more vulnerable, introspective side. There’s a quiet defiance in the way he makes music, choosing mood and meaning over flashy production or theatrics. It feels honest, deliberate, and real.

Though cohesive, the album never lapses into predictability. Flashes of reggaetón and R&B appear, but Piper resists confining himself to any single genre. Instead, mood guides the sonic palette, allowing ARÓN PIPER to drift confidently between genres whilst maintaining its intimate core.

Known for his acclaimed performances in Elite, El Silencio, and the upcoming La Tregua), Piper’s musical evolution has been steady but deliberate. Having received a Goya nomination for Best Original Song for one of his earlier releases, Rap 15 años y un día, he has performed across Europe and hit the stage at Lollapalooza in Chile and Argentina - heralded as one of the festivals standout sets. With this debut album, he arrives as fully realised. ARÓN PIPER is a bold, confident statement, marking him as an artist carving out his own distinct space in today’s musical landscape.

As he embarks on a series of club shows across Spain and readies himself for two major film releases later this year (La Tregua and Daydrinker, alongside Penélope Cruz and Johnny Depp), Piper stands at the crossroads of multiple creative worlds. Yet with this album, it’s clear that music is not a side project - it is an essential part of who he is.

ARÓN PIPER is out now.
