FESTIVALS ARE BACK BABY! Yesterday, Yours & Owls made its long-awaited return to Wollongong. Moving from its home of Stuart Park, punters found themselves at home in another beautiful green space, Wollongong's Dalton Park.
Organisers pulled out all the stops to make the festivals 2021 edition one of its most memorable, rolling out not one, but two revolving stages, record players and Lazy Susans, in an Australian first. From four seperate zones, fans were able to lap up live music from some of Australia's best acts!
Taking to the stage on Day 1 were headliners Lime Cordiale, who performed tracks from their latest record, 14 Steps To A Better You, as well as fan favourites from their catalogue. Their superb set showcased not only the sonic development since their earlier years, but their unparalleled prowess on stage. Fans were taking full advantage of the eased dancing restrictions, with the crowd mesmerised and captivated by the stellar set.
Day 2 saw a bevy of local talent take to the stage, including Cosmos Midnight, Hayden James, Hockey Dad, Slowly Slowly, Teenage Joans, Children Collide, George Alice, Good Lekker, Greta Stanley, Jerome Farrah, NME, Running Touch, Thomas Headon, Yours Truly and more!
