Australian country megastar Casey Barnes recently dropped his new single, Come Turn Me On, accompanied by a dynamic, thrilling, neon-soaked video. If that wasn’t enough, Barnes is currently in the midst of an Australian tour, Performing across South Australia, Victoria, Tasmania and Queensland.
With performances scheduled at Winton’s Way Out West Fest, Gippsland Country Music Festival and the Gympie Music Muster, Barnes will also take to the stage for a handful of headline performances. The high-octane live shows showcases not only Barnes electric talent, but also his bands, putting on an invigorating and stellar performance.
On Come Turn Me On, Barnes collaborated with Nashville-based songwriting duo Brown + Gray, who also co-wrote the musicians chart topping singles Sparks Fly and We’re Good Together. Built upon a pounding beat and hooky guitars, the enticing track sees the musician explore a new avenue of sound, threading through pop influences within the brazen country soundscape. Conceptually, the electric track reminds us tear theres’s nothing better than coming home to the ones you love.
Despite the global pandemic setback, 2020 was an epic year for Casey Barnes, seeing him nominated for ARIA’s Country Album Of The Year with his ARIA #1 Australian Country Album, Town Of A Million Dreams. And 2021 is set to be even bigger with Casey already lapping up four Golden Guitar nominations (2021 Toyota Album of the Year, Contemporary Country Album of the Year, Male Artist of the Year and Vocal Collaboration of the Year).
