5 THINGS YOU SHOULDN’T DO IN A SKI MASK ACCORDING TO ST.SINNER

HEADCASE is out now!

Ngunnawal/Canberra-based punk act st.sinner have dropped their new single, HEADCASE. To celebrate the release, the band have shared with MILKY five things they think you should never do whilst wearing a ski mask.

"HEADCASE is about coming to terms with negative, intrusive thoughts - it's the personification of those who see themselves as 'the monster'. It came about after I had a pretty whack experience while staring at myself in the mirror. I was mentally in a pretty dark place - my reflection was doing all sorts of weird stuff, which drove me to write about it. I had to gain ownership over 'the monster' to gain comfort and have this experience sit with me properly." the band share.

st.sinner will be hitting the road this month to mark the release of HEADCASE. Kicking off at The Burdekin Hotel in Sydney on September 23, the run of shows will continue on to Brisbane's The Brightside on October 27, before wrapping up at The Shaking Hand in Canberra on October 28.

ENTER A BANK

Don’t do it. They’ll assume the worst, even if you’re there to innocently invest. They will call the police; you will go to prison - bad time.

OPERATE A VEHICLE

The mask could slip and you could die. The Karen in the van a lane over will call the police; you will go to prison - bad time.

GO SKIING

Contrary to popular belief, the ski mask, for balaclava, WAS NOT designed for any sporting endeavours. It’s difficult to see and can impair your judgement. Just don’t go skiing ever, even without the mask, skiing hurts and it’s cold and wet and expensive. Your knees, spine and skull will thank you later.

COMMIT ARMED ROBBERY

The Ski Mask, or balaclava can absolutely impair your vision and isn’t particularly comfortable. They would not be ideal for committing armed robbery- you need 20/20 vision and a 360 degree field of view, and you would much prefer to commit felonies in comfort, probably.

DO A SKINCARE ROUTINE

The Balaclava or Ski Mask WILL NOT assist in completing your skin care routine. Especially on your face. Given that it covers most visible skin on there, you’ll be forced to add moisturizer, toner and salicylic acid to your eyes and lips. NOT A GOOD TIME.
