The wait is over, DOPE LEMON'S third studio album is here! The musical project from the mastermind of Angus Stone, Rose Pink Cadillac features the singles Stingray Pete, Rose Pink Cadillac, Kids Fallin’ In Love and the musicians collaboration with Winston Surfshirt, Every Day Is A Holiday.
Written and recorded by Stone throughout the pandemic, the record offers up two juxtaposing sides presented as day and night. The albums first half the bright happy-go-lucky vibe and sonics we've come to love from DOPE LEMON, before shifting focus throughout the second half. Across the body of work, Stone unfurls a love story, bringing storytelling and vivid lyricism that reflects a romantic conceptual outlook, playing out above sonic experimentation.
Speaking of the record, Stone shares: “From my heart to Dope Lemon, this album I have really enjoyed exploring and playing with different genres and storytelling. Handing it over now for you to listen to, feels so magical… and I hope you enjoy it, as much the joy that I put into its existence.”
