New York City's indie rock band The Foxfires have shared their new single, Orion. The track is a conscientious response to the events of 2020.
Packed with shoe gaze influence and infused with dream pop sounds, the evocative and reflective lyricism comments on the current social and biological state of the world. With a warm and optimistic sonic soundscape, the track takes its title from Greek Mythology, with Orion known as ‘The Huntsman’.
Forming in 2013, the have spent their time perfecting their own subgenre they've dubbed, Seagaze. The band combine psychedelic sounds present in shoegaze with pop-rock sounds within a post-punk soundscape. Having performed hundreds of shows across America, the trio have released two EP's and one full-length record.
