Perth musician Swaine Delgado has unveiled his latest single, Dance No More. The dynamic track is a laid-back tune perfect for a hazy summer afternoon. Dance No More is set to feature on the musicians upcoming EP Brushed, due out April 23rd.
Navigating themes of insecurity and self-consciousness, the personal track is completed with languid bass and a breezy chorus melody that is sure to stick in your brain. Speaking of the track, the musician shares: “Dance No More is about growing up a shy kid, resulting in missing out on things. I wrote it as a story of wanting to dance but being scared to.”Directed by Matt Sav, the tracks visual reflects the songs lyricism, depicting Swaine's anxiety as he primes himself for the dancefloor.
Swaine Delgado is the musical project of Perth born artist Preston Swaine. A self-taught musician, Swaine relocated to Sydney to pursue his music career after quitting his day job. He fuses together influences of hip hop beats, indie guitar tones and pop melodies to weave together his own unique soundscape.
