Grammy Award winning recording artist, producer and songwriter Rosalía is sharing new music alongside the announcement of her third studio album, MOTOMAMI.
The singers new single, SAOKO, serves as an homage to classic Reggaeton and is buily upon a sample from Yankee and Wisin. The track conceptually celebrates change and welcomes transformation, with the song capturing the themes and spirit of the singers forthcoming record. SAOKO is accompanied by an official visual, directed by Valentin Petit.
“Naming my next track SAOKO and sampling Yankee and Wisin for me is the most direct homage I can make to classic reggaeton, a genre that I love and that has been a constant and great inspiration throughout the MOTOMAMI project." the singer shares
She continues, "If you notice, the lyrics revolve around the same concept: transformation. Each and every phrase is an image of transformation. Celebrating transformation, celebrating change. Celebrating that you are always yourself even though you are in constant transformation or even that you are you more than ever at the very moment you are changing.”
MOTOMAMI is out March 18.
