Grammy-nominated live-electronic trio RÜFÜS DU SOL have treated fans with the announcement of their fourth studio album, Surrender. Due out this October, the trio have shared a new glimpse into the record with On My Knees. Featuring the singles Alive and Next To Me, the record serves as the follow up to their 2018 GRAMMY nominated record, SOLACE,

Their latest single continues the bands exploration of atmospheric soundscapes, with references to Trent Reznor and Nine Inch Nails signature chilling production. Conceptually, the track is at its core a love song, longing for romance with aching and evocative lyricism. Next To Me arrives alongside a monochromatic visual, which captures the tension and energy of the bands live show.

Speaking of the track, James Hunt shares: “For this song we had a lot of fun writing something that was darker, driving and a little more edgy,” explains James Hunt. “It’s definitely one of the most banging tracks on the record - we referenced some of our favourite club music for the drum programming and had fun envisioning the time when we could finally play this live. It had an amazing reaction at our Red Rocks shows last month which was really special for us.”

The band will be making their return to the stage this weekend, embarking on a North American Fall Tour, with two sold out nights at Red Rocks Amphitheater in August, and headlining festival appearances already at the Governors Ball, Austin City Limits, III Points, Bonnaroo and more.

Surrender is out October 22! Watch the visual for On My Knees below.
