Heralded by magnetic guitar riffs, the unruly release is all about unleashing your inner emotions that you've kept bottled up and letting someone know exactly how you feel. Frontwoman Jaz McLean's soulful vocals glide atop driving percussion, as the group continue their exploration of hard-rock sonics. The songs visual sees the four-piece performing the track and taking out their rage in one of the best ways rockers know how: smashing a television.
"It’s about internalising a multitude of negative things over an extended period of time and then finally hitting a breaking point. This is as relevant as it has been and always will be. It’s inspired by personal experiences with also the added strain of COVID."
Forming amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, Osprey made their debut in 2020 with GEMINI, which scored the #1 slot on Newcastle’s own Hottest 100 last year. Since their formation, the four-piece have been cutting their teeth within the live music scene, sharing the stage with Thirsty Merc, Spy vs Spy and Slapjack having collaborated with Snowfish and Karlou. The band will return to the stage tomorrow night, joining In Mantra, Doris and Dead Mall at The Cambridge.
