Sydney-based multi-instrumentalist, producer and singer-songwriter Billy Fox is set to drop his new single, Hurry Up And Crush Me, tomorrow. If you’re like us and can’t wait, listen to the track right here on MILKY before its release!

The atmospheric track navigates the ebbs and flows of life, and the necessity to embrace the roller coaster ride of life. Fox's airy vocals shine atop a glistening soundscape that feels spatial, allowing listeners moments of contemplation when presented with the introspective lyricism. The R&B-influenced electronic production is paired with a skillful and reactionary approach to songwriting, allowing Fox to deliver a stunning soundscapes and luminescent track.

Speaking of the release, Fox shares: "Hurry Up and Crush Me explores the theme of accepting that at many points, things can go against us, and we can be on either side of that experience. Sometimes things work out, sometimes they don’t. On the surface I suppose this sounds pessimistic, but under the surface it's coming from a place of embracing and welcoming a natural part of the human experience. I wrote this song and produced it to a point, then had with my good friend Jerome Blazé add some extra production on it which I loved."

Bursting onto the scene with 2016’s East Coast and the equally ground-breaking follow up, Avalanche, Fox forged his path within in the Australian music scene with his electro-soul music and beautiful suite of visuals forming an all-consuming sensory experience. His EP LUNG found the musician experimenting with organic instrumentation, spacious production and intricately textured future-soul elements.
