Rising alt-pop star Luke Reyvn has shared his new single, Another Day, taken from the musicians forthcoming debut EP. The release is accompanied by an official visual, directed by Evan Aparicio.
Fusing together threads of emo-punk and contemporary pop, the confessional release explores and documents the musicians own experiences, leaving behind troubled years of teenagehood and venturing out on his own in search of a new life. Reyvn's commanding vocals stomp above driving percussion, simmering bass lines and melodic guitar work. Laced with bittersweet lyricism, the musician is bearing his heart on his sleeve and opening up on his own personal journey.
“When I started embracing things I didn’t want to accept—like admitting I had dependency issues, depression, and learning disabilities—I started to experience positive change” Reyvn shares.
He continues, “The purpose of my music is to share my stories and life experiences to make a positive impact. I want to connect with as many listeners as I can, empower others to better their lives, and inspire those that need help to get it. I worked through a lot of inner struggles, and I’m passionate about mental health.”
The LA-based artist and mental health advocate uses his own personal reflections to provide comfort and be used as a tool to show others seeking help that things can get better. Defying genre, Reyvn explores sonic threads of pop, hip-hop, EDM, R&B, punk, alternative and indie within his music, creating engaging soundscapes that has a little something for everyone.
