Sydney-based post-hardcore five-piece Isotopes are back with their new track, WYWFM. Produced by Stevie Knight (Stand Atlantic, Yours Truly, Between You and Me) and mixed by James Paul Wisner (Paramore, Underoath), the track showcases the bands synergy, bringing their riotous energy to the track.

With a commanding vocal performance from frontman Justin Miller, WYWFM conceptually explores putting yourself first when it comes to love, taking the time out to mend your own heart before launching into a new relationship. Built upon domineering drums, soaring guitars and glowing piano, the track builds to an anthemic chorus, exhibiting evocative lyricism from Isotopes

Speaking of the track, Miller shares: “WYWFM is about realising the path of chasing love always leads to heartbreak, so for the first time you’re putting love aside and somewhat asking that it waits for you whilst you choose yourself."

The release arrives alongside a glamorous visual, which sees the five-piece dressed the nines, taking over Sydney’s Marble Bar. Directed and produced by Chris Elder of Haus Party (Polaris, In Hearts Wake, Northlane), the visual follows two central characters on their quest for love, before everything we see fades away.

"The concept of the video is about lust/love/temptation. A game of cat and mouse accompanying these feelings. Finding that once you obtain all of these feelings that you’ve ever so been craving, it disappears; you’re calm, you’re alone. So, was it ever really there?” says Miller.

WYWFM is out now! Watch the visual below.
