American singer-songwriter, Dawson Fuss has dropped his new single, Hollywood Heartbreak. Inspired by love stories from the golden age of cinema, the track navigates unrealistic standards of love, commenting on the false perceptions one can have as they enter a relationship.

The upbeat heartbreak anthem is built upon soft electric guitar stroked, with Dawson’s vocals floating above the track. Speaking of the track, Fuss shares: “The track is inspired by the vintage Hollywood film noir movies and modern films that often portray romance unrealistically, yet as a society, we see that as the blueprint... Because my love life was not like the movies I was watching. I got a little sad and realized that although essentially impossible, I would love to have a taste of what that kind of picture-perfect love life would be like,”

Having starred in local theatre productions since the age of five, Fuss has honed in on his sonic sound, exploring a variety of musical avenues. The musician also spends his time exploring other mediums of art, including photography and cinematography.
