Australia’s next pop superstar CXLOE has released her new single, One and Lonely. The song is the second release from the singers upcoming body of work.

On the track, CXLOE navigates the highs and lows of life on the road resulting in the singer spending time the majority of her time away from her partner. Co-written by Trey Campbell, Sam McCarthy and Jessica Porfiri, the lyrically vulnerable track simmers over expertly crafted production by Sam McCarthy (Kids of 88 and Goodnight Nurse) and mesmerising vocal echos.

Of the track, the singer shared: “‘One and Lonely’ is all about loneliness. I spend a majority of the year away from my partner, and it always weighs on me heavily. This song talks about the endless flights and sleepless nights away from each other and how heavy this feeling is”. She continued “I know I can be too much sometimes, and this song touches on these elements of push and pull that I put my partner through. ‘You’ll always be my One and Lonely’ is probably one of my favorite lines off the whole EP. It captures love and sadness in a matter of words.”

After a string of single releases, CXLOE is set to release her debut EP later this year. Amassing more than 32 million streams to date, the singer recently revealed she has signed deals with with Sandlot Records and is in global partnership with AWAL Recordings.
