Earlier this month, All Our Exes Live In Texas' front woman Hannah Crofts launched her solo musical project, Baby Velvet. To celebrate the release of her debut single Call Me, the singer is launching her ver own hotline where you can dish all your lockdown goss!

Kicking off at 10am AEST, fans can reach the singer via phone or zoom, where they can chat to the musician, share stories and ask any of their burning questions. Crofts will also be taking calls from some familiar voices, including including Henry Wagons, Murray Cook of The Wiggles, Mama Kin, her All Our Exes Live In Texas band mateGeorgia Mooney (All Our Exes) and more! All the calls will be recorded and collated into a one-off podcast, available to listeners worldwide. Fans who call in can choose to remain anonymous in the podcast.

Speaking of the single, Crofts: “One thing I have always struggled with is the fact that if you have a mobile phone, it is expected that you must communicate regardless of whether you want to or not. I think about growing up with a home phone, if you weren’t home the person would leave a message and you could get back to them whenever you wanted. The song is about having long stretches of depression and a general loss of identity and how sometimes you must tap in and out of life, choosing when you can come back in / taking a mental health break if you need it. This is a song about losing it all, the job/the relationship/the sense of self, but building it back up and then when I am ready, coming back into the world and answering my phone.”

To celebrate the release, the singer is set to perform two headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne. Tickets are on sale now!

Call into Baby Velvet's Call Me Hotline +61 7018 2005, or via zoom with the meeting ID 832 0814 7065# with the password 90210.
